Tahoe/Reno International Film Festival
July 5, 2006 Thousand Oaks: monterey media is proud to announce the acceptance of Turk Pipkin’s highly acclaimed full-length documentary Nobelity into the Tahoe Reno International Film Festival. Featuring interviews with nine Nobel Laureates, Pipkin not only asks the tough questions the world is facing, but the Laureates offer solutions as well to these tough problems. The Tahoe Reno International Film Festival says it has based its festival on, “bringing awareness about important social issues that can positively impact the main nervous system of the world and archive important historical and cultural movements.” Nobelity is being introduced to America during a time of heightened awareness of global warming, such as the theatrical release of Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth.
“All of us are searching for solutions and ways to take personal actions to affect change, especially for our children’s future… An Inconvenient Truth raises compelling questions, Nobelity offers compelling answers.”
Christopher Gavigan, CEO / Executive Director, CHEC,
